Albany, NY – On Monday, December 9, 2024, Assemblyman Patrick Carroll (D-Rockland) officially assumed his role in the New York State Assembly, representing District 96. Carroll was elected in November 2024 and succeeds Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski in serving the district.

Carroll’s Vision for District 96

“I am excited to begin this chapter as the next Assemblyman representing District 96,” said Carroll. “Our community needs strong leaders in Albany to ensure that our voices are heard on important issues. I am committed to supporting our local schools, eliminating government waste, protecting our environment, and fighting against overdevelopment. I look forward to working with my colleagues to create a fairer and stronger New York.”

Background and Experience

Carroll brings experience in public service to his new role. He previously served as a Councilman in the Town of Clarkstown since 2018, where he focused on addressing local concerns and promoting community well-being.

A resident of Bardonia, Carroll lives with his wife, Natalie, and their four daughters: Madelyn, Lily, Paige, and Hailey.

About District 96

The 96th Assembly District encompasses the entire Towns of Clarkstown and Haverstraw, as well as a portion of the Town of Orangetown. Carroll’s priorities as Assemblyman include advocating for educational improvements, fiscal responsibility, environmental protection, and balanced development in the region.

As he begins his tenure, Assemblyman Carroll aims to strengthen ties between Albany and his constituents, ensuring their concerns are addressed at the state level.
